Why Cosyland?
It’s a fundamental strength of our human species that we are cooperative beings.
However, in our current modern and post-modern societies, we are constantly exposed to pressures that distract us or even manipulate and corrupt us from sincerely being in touch with our ‘cooperative nature’.
These pressures have created unhealthy levels of inequality, both within most countries and at the global level.
But if we nurture our cooperative capacities, we can live more grounded, fulfilling, and happy lives in thriving communities.
We fully acknowledge the potential of technology to be both conducive or distracting for our path to unfold our capacity for sincere cooperation.
If we leave powerful technologies like social media and artificial intelligence in the control of big, centralized corporations, there’s a huge risk of further descending into polarization, solitude, and fear-driven egoism.
By contrast, if we use the transformative potential that these technologies bring for promoting sincere cooperation, we can contribute to building a more fair, peaceful, and fulfilling world for all.

Why Cosy?
Cosy stands for ‘cooperating sincerely‘.
This of course opens the question what we mean by ‘sincerely’.
Here we adopt a procedural definition:
Anyone can be cosy by establishing daily practices to get in touch with themselves, and by getting regular feedback and guidance from others.
We acknowledge that this is a journey for all of us, and we believe that by supporting each other on this journey, we can get much further.
